Happy Wednesday! It's hump day and we're seven days into celebrating. Let's get some house keeping outta the way.
Birthday Bash Q&A
Earlier one of our reader asked us this
Happy Birthday, or rather Birthmonth! What a wonderful idea to celebrate all month long, and to share inspiration with us! My answer to your question: suggestions for 'must have' sets for those of us new to card-making, and who are looking for as much versatility as possible! Thanks for asking - and especially, for investing time, energy and creativity for this 'party'!

I love this question, because we all have to start somewhere when it comes to learning this hobby. And we also have to start somewhere if we want to get a few new stamps. I actually asked the DT because I figured this kind of question doesn't have one correct answer. So over the next couple of day, I want to share with you what each DT's take it on this question. Hopefully this gives everyone a different take on the question and perhaps different things to consider.
Our DT star Amy Tsurata picks are:
"I've always been partial to sentiments stamps: Kindness Matters is definitely a 'must have' set. Card making and sentiments go hand in hand. You can make a quick card with a sentiment set & be able to kick it up a notch or two with layers and embellies!"
While I let you go ponder Amy's word of wisdom, I would like to welcome Ashley Marcu onto the blog. I absolutely adore her style. Check out some of her creations here and here. Isn't it just adorable? I think Ashley & Neat & Tangled are a match made in heaven ;) Then again I'm biased. Today Ashley is introducing you to some of her favorite banners, because what better way to decorate for a party, right? And then she leaves us with a fun card that she made. Check it out...
Hi Everyone! I'm Ashley Marcu from Cherry Hill Design and I am thrilled to be a part of Neat and Tangled's birthday celebration!
To keep the party going I thought I would share some of my favorite banner's from my Banner Love Pinterest Board!
Doesn't this look like a fun backyard party! Love the bright colors and mix of textures.
Hearts and rainbows! Does it get any cuter!
More rainbows on these birthday cupcakes! What a super fun way to dress up party treats!
I was inspired by all of the banners to make this birthday card using some of my favorite Neat and Tangled stamps!
I created a fun banner with the heart from Kindness Matters and added the perfect sentiment from Sketchy Cupcakes.
Happy Birthday Neat and Tangled! Thank again for letting me share in your celebration!

What do you think of Ashley's party post? I think she did a banner-ific job. I love the fresh color combo and the adorable twine. What about you?
